Investigators Release Footage of Engine Detachment in Fatal Kentucky Cargo Plane Crash
Federal investigators have released critical video evidence shedding light on the tragic cargo plane crash that occurred in Kentucky in November 2025. The incident, which resulted in the deaths of three crew members and 11 individuals on the ground, is currently the subject of an intensive safety review. The newly surfaced footage provides a clear view of the aircraft’s left engine detaching from the wing during the takeoff sequence.
According to the preliminary findings, the aircraft failed to achieve significant altitude, never rising more than 30 feet above the ground before the catastrophic failure occurred. The visual evidence, which includes detailed imagery of the engine separation, is being analyzed to determine the mechanical factors that led to the loss of control.
Authorities continue to examine the wreckage and flight data to understand the sequence of events that transformed a routine takeoff into a deadly disaster. The investigation remains ongoing as officials work to provide answers to the families affected by the tragedy and to implement potential safety improvements for future cargo operations.
